Oblivion on PS3 & PSP

Yes, the rumors are true: Oblivion is heading to PlayStation 3,... The game will introduce a new faction to the Oblivion world, one that's available right at the beginning called Knights of the Nine and described by the developers as "the good Dark Brotherhood." The goal here is to become the Divine Crusader (think part warrior, part priest), and the quest features new locations, characters, armor and weapons.

Fans may also be excited to hear that the series is heading to PSP in Elder Scrolls Travels: Oblivion, a game that plays very similarly to its big brother but takes place in a completely different setting.

i know its new to everyone now, but the game was announced for the PS3 back in the October 2004 issue of GI.

I may pick up the PS3 version, even though i have the PC version.

LOL I CAN JUST GET WHATEVER GAMES I WANT ON PS3 ON PC.

Seriously if that added content comes to the pc version I'll be picking that up as it'll be like 30 bucks by that point.

uh, oblivion is a launch game...which means it will be out in about 6 weeks...doubt oblivion is going to go down that much by then.

Yeah... I'm more interested in how the hell their going to squeeze Oblivion onto the PSP. I mean it's either going to be awesome, or total crap.

well, i dont think it is going to look very detailed compared to the other games. But if they can do a decent looking FPS on the system, they can do oblivion, probably just really toned down.

Its going to kill the battery life though.

From Software didnt make the PSP KF games 3D (they're still first person though) for that very reason.

I bought an Xbox for Morrowind.

Luckily, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Conker, and Sphinx almost made it worth getting.

Xbox 360 holds more promise than the Xbox did, though. IMO.

Yay for the PSP Oblivion! That IS a good question, though... how DO you put a game like that, even a shrunken one, on such a limited system?
