    24-hour Comic Day

It's coming up! October 7th. Anybody else going to partcipate? I'm totaly psyched this year. Problem is, no place in Colorado is holding a get together for the event. So I'm trying to get people to come over to my place and hang out in my basement for a day drawing comics. If anyone wants to fly to Denver for a day they're more than welcome. Anyway: What are 24 hour comics?
And: My comic from last year.

Man, Colorado is a bit too far, but I'd otherwise love to participate in something like this. But a 2-day drive... I won't even bother getting on an airplane, for a myriad of reasons related to civil liberties and my disgust for the airline industry along with having school and such.

By the way everyone, I still hate the Miami Vice movie.

This year I have a legit excuse: I'm already working that day. Plus, I hate drawing while other people stand around me. '-'

Your comic from last year was great. I only read the title and I remembered reading yours before. Though I couldn't remember who made it, or what it was about. Thanks for the refresher.

Anyway, 24-hour comic day sounds interesting. Might try it.

Mine would start up pretty well and end up being stick figures throwing poo at each other.
                        ...and that's why.

You think that's bad, mine would start out being stick figures throwing poo at each other.

Last time I made a comic, I spent 8 hours on its single page. Which is one reason why there was never a Pavilion Comic, Page 2.

Of course, I've gotten better since then, and I have a set of colored pencils I can use instead of [insert long tedious coloring process] in MS Paint. Not that coloring would be an option. My only problem right now is that I waste a lot of time being stuck at some part because I keep erasing and fixing until I get it just right. I'd have to kick that habit in order to be able to seriously participate in such an occasion as this.

I think part of the reason for this is to kick that habit. Isn't that the reason McCloud started this? To improve his comic drawing speed?
