Who likes cake?

I've been taking cake decorating classes for the last eight weeks, and I just finished Course II tonight.

I just had to share my final class cake cuz it's all pretty and junk.

Cake decorating is insanely fun and actually pretty easy. Friends and family always ask me to bake things for them anyway, so I figured it'd be beneficial if they also looked stylish.

And now I need to go and wait for my arm to fall off from piping that stupid basketweave on the sides!

Depends on the cake. I'm not a fan of plain-tasting cakes. I like more exotic cakes like Key Lime or Chocolate Zuccotto.

But I must say, that cake you made looks beautiful.

Thank you, everyone!

I've already been enlisted to make my Mom's birthday cake, and her birthday is on Halloween. I'm trying to decide just what to do with it, but so far I have no idea.

Maybe I'll make myself a Renamon cake for my upcoming 25th in November. WHY THE HELL NOT?!

Also, Terr, this cake is cherry chip. It's my favourite kind, although I would love to try a key lime cake. That sounds divine.

And a special thank you to my sugar bunny. <3 If you thought that bird had devil eyes, you should have seen the other two I made that didn't get onto the cake. I painted different eyes on all of the birds - of the ones that didn't make it onto the cake, there's one with a ^_^ anime type eye (I didn't care about it much cuz I messed up painting the beak) and the other one was a disgruntled-looking bird with a shifty eye. I gave them to my Mom and she ate them.

I don't really like cake but that looks amazing. Reminds me of this guy I used to know who was a graphic designer who worked in a bakery. He could do some kick ass stuff on cakes.
