One of my great-grandfathers (on father's side) got drunk, beat up his wife, then threw her out into the snow where she died of hypothermia. He was never charged with anything. Later in life he found Jesus, so I assume all was forgiven. Also there's quite the cycle of drug and alcohol abuse running through multiple generations on my father's side. (I'm not part of it though).So you're a fish out of water...

My grandfather was deported from Italy for killing his first two wives, my grandmother mowed him down with a car but he lived.
My great uncle "mangled" at least 5 women here in the US.
