So, I've finally gotten some part of it done, the cover. I haven't decided if it's all going to be in color, but this image itself took me about three hours a day for a week. The second page should be up within the next couple of days.
This is the only place these are currently being posted, other then between my friends, so please don't pass them around the internet. Consider this a beta-read before it gets published. Thanks you guys.
I am not so proud of this one. It took me forever to draw and still didn't come out right, and I didn't even come close to how I wanted it to look in my mind. I may redraw it when I get more advanced, but i basically just wanted to finish it.
Some reason I felt like I had to have a chapter page. This was a last minute decision, mostly to serve as an easier way to outline it. Each Chapter has diffrent phases that are about 10 pages. don't ask me why I did this, I just did.
Biggest problem I will ever have with this page is that I love it and hate it. It's almost over a year old, and I was proud of it when I drew it, but in retrospect, the proportioning is off, and the pose looks a bit harsh. (one leg is behind the other.) I did a color version of this once (my first ever art post here) but it just never felt right. When I redrew it, I wanted to get more of a dream feel for it. I am extremely proud of the skin...which is really the only part I am proud of.
FINALLY THIS BLOODY PAGE IS DONE!!!!!! Mum helped me work out some of the wording, but I decided to just bite the bullet and go with a more wordy description. Hopefully the tone is taken as a very empty narration, almost as if the person has grown tired of describing it.
And the new page is up. This is one I am fond of but not proud of. I agonized over this page because i felt it was very poorly done, but I think I can pretend it's good just for the sake of getting the damn thing up so I can move on. Origionally I didn't even want to do the white outlines on the wings, but I bit the bullet because it was much better looking in the long run. So, enjoy.
