I feel so accomplished.

After my first week on my own, I just did my first load of laundry by myself. Yeah, I was spoiled at home, but at least I'm learning the ropes now. I have class at 2, so we'll see how that goes. Has anybody else started school or moved out?

Ah, I've ben doing my own laundry since I was 13

Anyway, I'll hopefully be starting school in november.

I'm staying at home in order to qualify for grants and such.

I posted for some jobs, when I get a job I'll be saving up for a place on my own so at the end of my 3 years at school, I can move into my own apartment.

I installed a new washer yesterday. It made a lot of noise until I realized I had left a shipping rod underneath it.

I prefer to hand wash and hang dry my clothes. I've been doing that for awhile now, since its a rather easy chore and less of a burden on whoever in the family washes the clothes for the week.

I have to do laundry with coins because my apartment complex doesn't have hook up so I usually just have kinda dirty and dirty piles.

i fixed my first dryer when i was sixteen.



washer repair came later. it's harder! like my old gym teacher used to say, as soon as you add fluids, things get hard.


but yeah, i've been "washing" (as in being in charge of, not so much actually doing) my own clothes for a long time.

First week alone and you already did laundry? Thats pretty impressive. I'm pretty lazy, and it took me over 2 months to do my first load of laundry back during my freshman year of college. And even then I had to have ony of my friends help me a lot. I was pretty pathetic, really.
