Site reconstruction is going slow (the menu does not, and will not work until I'm happy with everything) as I'm changing the way everything is organized to make updates much easier in the future. Game forum requests and new game submissions will be added only when the site is back up 100%, so don't think I've forgotten about you people. The new moderators will be announced after reconstruction is finished as well.
The pavilion may be crippled right now, but we're not down yet, not ever.
I also have a bit of what may be considered "sad" news. My role at the pavilion is going to start scaling back considerably for a while. I am NOT abandoning my role as webmaster, and I have no plans to until the community tells me to step down. But things have just been so stressful lately, and my site workload has been so damn heavy, I need to get away for a while. I'll pop in every day still, but do not expect me to be doing a lot. I just need a few weeks to relax and not worry about everything so much.
When I take a break, who will be updating the site? Well, after a little over 2 years of doing everything myself, I'm finally bringing on new website staff. The first new staff member knows who they are, and I may recruit more if needed. I'll begin training this new staff member after reconstruction is done, and then they can announce who they are in their first update.
I will also be opening a donation box sometime this fall to pay for the bandwidth, as members have demanded that I do so. You guys want to take some of the burden off me, and thats awesome. I'm honored that you care so much about this place. I'm trying to find a working add-on module for the site that can show how much has been donated, and what the monthly need (it won't be exact, just an average) is. You guys wont have to pay the whole thing, but every dollar counts. especially since winter is traditionally our busiest time of year, with everyone inside mora. er... more. yeah. inside more.
