Close Encounters of the SEGA SATURN Kind

So I was in the same game store where I saw a couple of guys play their brand spankin' new PSPs when, not TWO FEET AWAY, a guy was selling his whole Sega Saturn game collection which included

    GUARDIAN HEROES

    and

    PANZER DRAGOON SAGA.

I just about POOPED. I asked the guy if they were all originals from the day they came out and he answered affirmatively and seemed sad to let them go, but he had to move to Georgia and sell them quick, or something. His story was unimportant.

What's important is that I didn't have the cash to plunk down for those gems and the store didn't have any Saturn hardware in stock either anyway. I feel like I'm missing the chance of a lifetime here!!!!

He had the original Lunar for Sega CD too... still, if I don't end up getting them (I'll be home in Joizey for the Easter weekend... and the sales clerk assured me the merchandise will disappear in a matter of seconds)... you don't see something like THAT everyday!

I've stolen sales from game stores soooo many times. someone walked into gamestop intent on selling a dreamcast with a ton of great games. the store would give him 20 for everything, I told him I'd give him 30. so I bought it away from the store, and then gave it to a friend as a birthday present.

I was kicked out of the store for that.

        I bet you were

I wish I was that lucky. But usually, when ever there is someone selling something, it is either a crappy game, or annoying kid who takes all day to try to sell something.

          Argh, Saturn is AWESOME!

And I have the Sega CD Lunar, quite good, I liked it better than the PSX one.

            ...

I don't think anybody will ever top that. I am so sorry, Glooms. The worst thing we ever did, I think, was sell Silent Hill. In a blind fit of outrageous stupidity. ....We got it back though...

And I never even played those Sega games yet. I want to. So bad. I WANT A SATURN. I wish I got those games. I'd... do things... to get them...

YOU MUST PLAY SHINING FORCE 3.

It'll cost you more, collectively, to buy the three scenarios for SF3 than it will to buy any one of those other games. Unless you freak out and spend $200 on Panzer.

The Sega systems are so cool, but the only one that didn't get crapped on by the industry was the Genesis.
