There're ads for the damn thing EVERYWHERE here. I can't turn around without its big fat black face in my way. OH WAIT. IT WAS LIKE THAT HERE BEFORE.



But yeah, I saw it in a game store and that thing is... pretty damn sexy. Smaller than I thought it'd be too. But y'know, at this point, I'd rather cushion my GBA in the cash it'd take to own one... The cash I don't HAVE.

So who got it? Thoughts? Impressions? Complaints? Appraisals? Meats?

The next few days should be interesting, to see if the U.S. launch has the same problems as the Japanese one.

Even the newspapers are reporting how the stores are prep up to take in all the sales they think they are going to get.

I seriously don't see how this would be a big seller...

It's capable of so much. It's powerful as hell. It looks beautiful. If I was rich, you better believe I'd get one.

the PSP launch in the us is pretty stupid.

they're brought the "value pack" version over here, 250 for a case that it won't fit in, and headphones and crap.

meanwhile, if you dont want that stupid crap, you can get the standard PSP from japan for 180! even if you get raped on shipping, it would be cheaper, and you can change the language settings.

I'm glad they fixed all the problems from the japanese version, but come on now, 250 dollars for a portable gaming system? 180 is still too much, but it's more acceptible than 250.

if someone gave me one for free, i'd take it in a heartbeat. as near as i can tell the only real downside is the price. some of the games look at least interesting, but they are also somewhat expensive.
