So I've come to somewhat know alot of really cool people here, some are gone some are still here. But really I was such a immature self-absorbed bastard when I was here before I never really connected with anyone cept maybe alzar who I was talking alot after I left but not at all anymore. But anyways not only would I like to get to know the cool people that are still here but I'd like to get to know all the new cool people I've never gotten to know at all. So if you care to humor me, post some stuff about yourself- the things that define you. To show you what I mean, and since it kinda makes sense to do I'll talk about myself some. I'd appreciate it if everyone followed suit because I really want to get a feel for everyone.
Firstly, I'm the most laid back guy I know. Unfortuantly that goes hand in hand with laziness- or what people percieve as laziness. My main ambition the majority of the time is to chill, so it's hard to motivate to do much. I appreciate good humor, I got a pretty dry wit albeit I'm not nearly as witty or suave as I'd like to be.
I watch alot of movies, I like all kinds of movies including but not limited to, big lebowski, fear and loathing in las vegas, adapatation, being john malcovich, one flew over the cuckoo's nest, clockwork orange, memento, american beauty, twelve monkeys, donnie darko, trainspotting, harold and maude, as good as it gets,crouching tiger hidden dragon, hero, house of flying daggers, super troopers, monty python and the holy grail, julien donkey boy(great obsecure indie movie btw; great quotes).
My music taste is pretty ecleptic(Sp?) but what I tend to listen to is pretty limited. I mainly listen to pink floyd and....pink floyd. Outside of that the music I really like is dave matthews, doors, led zepplein, aphex twin, infected mushroom, the faint, the shins, nirvana, violent femmes, moby, orbital, spiritualized(Wasn't there a guy here who really liked spiritualized?), radiohead, postal service, oasis, my morning jacket, the flaming lips, nine inch nails, tears for fears, new order, talking heads, jimi hendrix, neil young, bob dylan, jefferson airplane, echo and the bunnymen, jack johnson, nick drake, fiona apple, bush, david bowie, creedence clearwater revivial, cream, and other stuff. I don't watch tv but tv shows I like are family guy, aqua teen, home movies, scrubs, seinfield, that 70's show.
I play basketball sparingly but used to be really good I had a definite shot at getting a college scholarship playing basketball but I messed that up. I'm 6'6 and a guard and despite being white I can jump(can 360 dunk woot go me) and am athletic and versatile. Other then that I take leisurely bike rides and play pool. Yeah, my hypened life story starting when I was 14 and went to the pavilion. I loved videogames- rpgs specifically. I worked somewhat on one game in my whole rpg maker experience called Edge of Fate which I still think had good story ideas but in game form it sucked because I wasn't good at making games. I made a demo, blaze played it told me it sucked and noticed that I ripped alot of buildings right off of ff4 because I was lazy and wanted to get a feel for dungeon design. My pavilionite highlight was being blessed to write a preview for the greatest demo ever LEGEND. My most notable pavilionite accomplishment was whooping up on the Pavilion Survivor(I think that's what it was called) and my team(I know baby fuzzy goats was on it and I tthhinnk gwommy) would've totally won if I hadn't missed the final because I was playing basketball. I left because there were alot of annoying people at the pavilion at the time and after that I went through mass changes.
