A new chat room is available. It is under the online users list in the "new age pavilion" theme. it isnt compatible with blue emerald, so you'll have to change themes to access it, although you can change right back afterwards.
There are some cool new features of this chat system, along with some bad ones. Lets go over them.
First off, the chat room does not work with the Safari web browser. It will pop up in two windows instead of one, and you'll have to auto-refresh to see new messages.
Second, the chat does lag a little bit, because it doesnt run like an actual chat room. It adds new messages via server refreshes which typically happen every two seconds.
Third, you can create your own chat rooms, and even password protect them. Staff members will honor the privacy of password-protected chat rooms, and not punish anyone for what goes on in them, or enter them unless given the password. there can be 5 custom rooms created at any one time, which are removed automatically after 1 hour of inactivity. Keep the room names clean, or you may be temporarily banned from the chat.
Fourth, due to the nature of chat rooms, the RPG Maker Pavilion cannot be held responsible for their content when staff members are not in it. The swear filter is on in the chat, thats really the best we can do.
Fifth, BBcode works in the chat. emoticons do not.
Finally, if you need help with the chat, just look at the links at the top.
