Edited: Just checked it out and it looks like it's at MTU, not MSU. No way am I going to the UP. That's like a 6 hour drive.

God I wish it was at MSU. I'd totally go.

Extremely upper tip of the UP.

It's about an 8 1/2 hour drive one way from Lansing.

The UP? Every time I go up there, I'm surprised there are towns up there in that vast wilderness. I always just imagine 'settlements' along the road where travelers can stop, feed their horses, and pick up some supplies. And at first, my fears were well founded, there are still roadside stands that advertise "pelts" and "skins". WHAT THE HELL?! I guess there's gotta be SOME kinda rudimentary city set up around the college, though... I mean, you can't commute... there ain't nothing around it!

I am coming for all of you!

I might even be able to get there faster than some of you XD. Not that I would have a reason to.

God, I hate the UP. Can't Michigan just forget about it.

Some twisted part of me would have found it humorous if you went to MSU and found out you are at the wrong place. I've done something similar before...

The UP is nice to look at, but there is no way in HELL, MICHIGAN that I'm going to drive all that way. Who the hell has a thing in a place where there is about 2 persons per square mile? Are they conspiring or something?

MTU asked lowtax. He said yes. He didn't bother to research where it is in Michigan and probably doesn't care. There will still be lots of people there
