I refuse to ever get a myspace, and the only reason I got on to facebook was because one of my roommates registered me there without my knowing. I don't use it at all.

and myspace isn't that bad, for distributing your music, anyways. you've got an enormous audience, and if you're good, an actual chance that you could get discovered by people who don't know you locally.

Because it's in the terms of service?

And because Myspace sucks in general in coding. Really most users are forced to preform shotgun surgery on their code. But that's what you get with free hosting. Plus once someone figures out a terrible way to add in something, like autoplay videos and music, everyone else copies that, instead of just fixing it, or being original. But really all free hosting services have their quirks. Myspace just happens to be the biggest one, and is now owned by FOX I believe.

And the site didn't make my firefox crash, and I don't have adblock.

I hate it, but it's been incredibly useful in finding old friends from Ohio with minimal effort.

And Agetec has made a good move by having a MySpace page. It gets you out there in the open, on a place where nearly EVERYONE is going.

Dear lord this is true sadly, but ugh everything has a myspace nowadays...I found a myspace for World of Warcraft and many many bosses in the game from areas, quite sad ~_~
