We have this system where you can email everyone in your class and I'm always getting emails from my classmates about crap that they can either find on the class site or by paying attention. So I sent this email around. There are 350+ in my class.
So far out of 15 responses I've gotten only one complained.
Hey guys, since the website project it's been apparent that there are some people who aren't here at Texas State by choice but because of their intellect and talent(if you don't get that joke then you're probably one of those people I'm talking about). Now I like having my email flooded with inane questions about how to do the simplist things as much as the next guy, well actually I don't. I hate having to delete countless emails from dzchick@txstate.edu and barslut@yahoo.com asking what was said in class when you can just go on blackboard and click on this class and find the information. Seriously, it's right there on the first page that opens up. If not you can click on that nice button called announcements and find out the information. What's really sad is that as far as I know you need to go on blackboard to send mass emails so most of these people are already halfway there.
