    Pavilion GP

I'm completing a game for the upcoming contest. Since a RPG or most games would take too long, I decided to make a fun racing game, with people from the pavilion mostly. That means a lot of names will be recognizable...

I plan on having at least 30 racers total(subject to change of course), with 60 tracks. Each racer will have a few stats unique to them, since we can't have accurate car physics in RPG Maker 2. For example, a racer's weight determines how long they stay in the air if they hit a ramp or fall.

Here's the entire roster that's being used from various sites:

    -Me(of course)
    -Valkysas
    -Gloomy
    -Gwommy
    -John Mora
    -Ryner
    -Ixzion
    -Oblivion
    -Doan
    -Hikari
    -Draygone
    -Rodak
    -Jugem
    -libra_in_red
    -Big Rick Cook
    -Goufunaki
    -highwind
    -The Toecutter
    -EvilNixon666
    -Dave Carter
    -neonash

And no, I'm not taking requests for people who wanna be in. But, is there anyone who DOESN'T want to be included?

Guess you'll find out in a month or so. It seems easy enough to do, just don't expect a Mario Kart.

I'll be including people who have mostly been here a long time. So, anyone have any graphical preferences?

I love racing games. Can't wait to see the end result.

I won't expect to be included, but I might give it a whirl. I do still own my copy of RPGM2.

I've considered making a mini-game kind of like this before. Good luck, it won't be easy.

It is very unlikely that you would use me in the game, but I don't have a problem with it if you do.

I'm working on a racing game myself. Well, sorta. It's kinda difficult to figure out how to work it out. I mean, you can't have banana peels sitting all over the place, because it'd be real easy to walk around them. I'd be interested in seeing what you come up with.

And, um, unlikely that I'll get used, but if you do, please consult me before deciding on how I'd look.

I was just gonna make you a dragon.

If you wanna decide your looks, just ask. Some people might not like being a ball of yellow snow, but Ryner will have to deal with it. I'll see if I can make some VFX cars too.

I have a basic accelerate/decelerate mechanic, which you use square to toggle. Once in acceleration mode, you can go faster than normal, but you also consume fuel and once that runs out, you go to normal pace again. Now that I figured that out, cars can be separated by fuel consumption and acceleration speed. I'm also using the fun map as a track, imagine driving around the Enterbrain logo!
