    Meaning of Life?

I had an essay for school I did a few weeks ago on the meaning of life. It was about our opinions and such on the subject.

Well, now I'm wondering what others think about the meaning of life. I simply believe life has no meaning. If you think about it, it makes sense, cause that would give us a reason to give it meaning.

    So, what do you think?

Three things I think when it comes to the meaning of life:

Life is what you make it, **** happens and random stuff can happen.

The meaning of life is to find the meaning of life....which leads you into one massive loop until your head explodes fun eh?

                    Re: Meaning of Life?

I thought we all agreed it was 42 and left it alone (waiting for someone to say it).
So the real question ... is the question.

Though seriously life only has the purpose you give to it, since I'm pretty sure know one really knows the origin behind life. For all we know we could be the imagination of some other being, nothingness, God's creation, gods, infinite beings taking a vacation in a finite world. All perfectly valid, none really refutable (assuming complete relativity, and no one knows the answer).

So in summary, the purpose of life is living. Just living, nothing else. Any extra stuff is just purpose you give to your life to make it seem better than it is, or sometimes worse than it is. Life is just life nothing else. Kind of like reality, but that's a discussion best left to a philosophy class, as questioning reality, while interesting is hardly ever useful, except to explore the very likely possiblity there are no absolutes.

And though there may be no wrong answer, I'm pretty sure this one isn't it
"Baseball. another opportunity given to a batter to bat because of a misplay by a fielder."
Man some of those are dumb.

                      I agree with this mostly.

Instead of the above question, one should be asking themselves...

"What would you do if you knew the meaning of life?"
Quote of the moment - "When you cut down a tree, don't stand near it."

My current meaning of life is to play Twilight Princess. But that'll change once Ganon is defeated.
