    Question about Town Placement

    I was just rolling this idea around in my head and thought I'd see what you guys thought. I'm working on a story called The Sarillian Saga and the social structure of the communities in the game are nomadic tribal cultures. I was wondering, could you create the illusion of a nomadic village by creating several field maps and placing the same village in different areas on each of them? I want to have the main village of Kali Saphrem be mobile and follow you to different fields as the story progresses, as a base of operations of sorts. Would I be able to do this?

    Well, not exactly, but...

    What you could do is set up a button event on each field map (using one of those town graphics) that warps you to that town without actually placing the town on any of the field maps. That might solve the problem. Then, inside of the actual town, block off th entrance and have a warp event that sends you to the different fields. Anyone on here, let me know if my logic is flawed in any way. I think this will work fine.

      I haven't gotten far enough into the editor to be using warps, but it sounds simple enough. When I start laying it out I'll be sure to try it out Thanks a million Pagerron! You probably just saved me a headache before I had a chance to have it
