im not sure. you could try reversion the learn spel if thats possible. look for the command to add magic and see if theirs an option to remove it from there. other then that you could try the turn off magic use fuction but then all players wont be able to use magic.

I was wondering if you would wind up asking this. Nope, you can't unlearn spells.

That's been asked so frequently. I'll never understand why.
Yes, they'll retain all stats, equipment, etc. One thing to keep in mind, if you haven't noticed already, is that each character's starting stats are the same as when you started playing. So if you start a test play, save, change a character's stats, and resume the test play, it won't recognize that you changed the character's stats. You have to start over.

Nope, it's either/or. Never both. You could always make it kinda turn-based. You make your attack, turn on a switch, enemy makes his attack, turn back off a switch. That's what I did, and it worked well enough. I just had to make sure that the enemy left a bit of health behind and have the occasional health restorative object, or else there'd be little chance of survival. Also helps to have a few different attacks to choose from to balance it out. You know, have the basic attack, and maybe a status attack that by some random chance could stun the enemy so you can get in a few free hits. Again, that's what I did.
