    F.E.A.R. for the 360...

I just played the demo yesterday and having played the game on my PC, I am very dissappointed.

Now I know that using a mouse is always going to be better than a controller for the most part, but the controls were just crappy. The response was off, no matter which setting I took.

And the graphics aren't as good as I thought they would be. Now I played with the lower settings for the most part on the PC, but I did raise the settings up as high as I could, and even though it was too choppy, it looked much more define and crisp then the XBOX 360. But that isn't to say the 360 couldn't look that way.

When I went to zoom in, with the 360 version, the graphics got better. Maybe it was just me, but it seem to make the textures more crisp.

Considering that they are just adding one or two new weapons and one extra mode and skipping out on adding the upcoming add on, I wouldn't suggest buying it. You would be better off getting it for the PC.

Words to live by for any game released on 360 and PC.

I picked up Condemned: Criminal Origins for PC for half the price of the 360 version, plus I didn't have to buy the 360 to play it. Unless if the 360 version has drastically better graphics and more features, which I doubt, the PC version is the better deal.

Some people just don't consider PC games an option though. Like me, I don't like playing games on PCs. I even like The Sims on console better than on PC. But then again I don't play FPSs at all (I'm planning to give the genre a try again with The Darkness) and they're the main games that are better on PC than console. And I'd have to buy a new PC because the desktop and laptop I have now are old economy computers that aren't even good enough to upgrade. But they're fine for everything else so it'd be a waste to go through all that just to play games when I could get them on consoles, even if they would be better.
I want that Mulan McNugget sauce, Morty!

Well I can't play the newer PC games without it being on the lowest settings for the most part. But I think I was just more disspointed in the controls then the graphics on the 360.

Yeah...I try to avoid getting a game for the PC because it's hard to get myself to play it (I LOVE The Movies but I don't want to look at a monitor after I get home from staring at a monitor all day). I'll probably rent F.E.A.R. when it comes out. I often hear the "just get 360 games for your computer" argument a lot, but I don't want to spend more than I would on a 360 just to be able to play those games.

Mainly I'm an anti-X-Box advocate. Personally I think saving up to buy a PS3 or Wii will ultimately be a better deal than buying an X-Box 360 now.
