    Red Earth

Yo, everyone. I got this great new game idea. It's called RED EARTH 2. Why Red Earth 2? Well, there are many reasons. None I care to go over.

This game is off the hook. I got like 165 switches, a rad quest, and a much better story than the previous crap story. The game starts off (when I say game, I'm talking about the story!) where the last game ended.

    Here are the characters:
    James: Main charactor,strongest
    Jason: James's son
Lucky:The second strongest, extremly jealous of James
Tobi:Lucky"s son from a differeant dimension
    Young Tobi:This dimensions Tobi;also Lucky's son
    Clara:Young Tobi's mother
Dr. Geometric:The man behind the creation of all the monsters in this game;also created James and Lucky
    Kraken:The head boss
    Child Kraken: Kraken's child form

The story pretty much starts after you defeated Kraken in the first game. OR SO YOU THOUGHT. Lucky decides to leave, but is kille dby Kraken! He survived his defeat from game one. After that, the games skips like 3 years and begins as James and Jason are training really hard. They then recieve a call from Young Tobi's mother. She tells them of her current troubles, her son is growing at a faster rate and if not treated soon... will die. So, James and Jason go and check on young Tobi. There! Clara explains her son's accelerate growth disorder. There is only one cure, however. So, now, you must venture and find the three elements and fuse them together to form the FOURTH element which stops accelerated growth. After you give young Tobi his the fourth element he joins your party. After that, for some reason, you must find Dr. Geometric and Kraken! Right before you enter the lab, Tobi joins your party. He has become angered at himself for revealing his true identity to James and not to his father, Lucky. NOTE: This happened in the first Red Earth. Why is he angry at himself? Lucky never found out who he was and Tobi's father (from his dimension) also died. Anyways, you find your way to the lab and destroy child Kraken. However! Dr. Geometric escapes and you must continue even further with your journey. Later in the game, you meet up with child Kraken who somehow survived the lab incident. Battle ensues. The battle ends and Kraken escapes... AGAIN! At the final battle, before destroying Kraken, Dr. Geometric is "killed." Yeah, RIGHT! And you have to fight Kraken... again. After defeating him, you return home and both Tobi's now live with Clara. At the end, the child Kraken who escaped, is in another one of Geometric's labs. You then find out the Doctor has survived and the game ends.

So what do you think? Should I continue the series or kill it? Let me know what you think.

    sounds completely rediculous.

I'd say do it, if I thought for an instant you were serious about it.

Nah, I know better. this is making fun of all the recent game idea topics.

      Wow.

Where do I start? It's not everyday that you open up the pav and notice that an original (and well thought of, worked on, and cherished...might I add) piece of work is completely STOLEN. Not only that, but the version that is claimed as someone elses is basically a rip off of your heart and soul (and is a horrible one at that).

I'm sorry to mention it, Caciss, but that is all this is. Nothing more than a bastardized version of an original piece I had thought of and worked endlessly on years ago. Now that I can take pride in. This, however, I cannot.

If you think I would sit idle and totally forget about a work of mine and allow someone to basically steal it, you are DEAD WRONG.

      http://p081.ezboard.com/frpgmakerpav...picID=97.topic

It is rather obvious from the above linked post, that I, Jvrlopez AKA Dual43, originally posted multiple story elements that share a striking resemblence to nearly all aspects of Caciss' "story" or "game".

Years ago, noting the potential this story had for success, I took certain actions to protect myself and intellectual property that I had hope in.

NOTE:I have already made this game and will take legal
      actions if you steal it.
I will be contacting a family friend who is a praticing paralegal in regards to this fiasco. In the meantime, if you are having difficulty seeing the subtle similarities in between the works (I should say WORK, since only 1 is originally thought of, the other is just a sham), I have qouted some of my original (and well appreciated and highly regarded aspects) for you to compare to Caciss' post above. Bear in mind, my post was over 5 years ago, much earlier than his.

      Exhibit A-

      Characters-

      James:Main charactor,strongest
      Jason:James's son
Lucky:The second strongest, extremly jealous of James
Tobi:Lucky"s son from a differeant dimension
      Young Tobi:This dimensions Tobi;also Lucky's son
      Clara:Young Tobi's mother
Dr geometric:The man behind the creation of all the monsters in this game;also created James and Lucky
      Kraken:The head boss
      Child Kraken:Kraken's child form
      ANOTHER NOTE:Not all are playable.
      Exhibit B-

      Story Elements-

      .NOTE:This happened in
the first Red Earth. Why is he angry at himself?Lucky never
found out who he was and Tobi's father(from his dimension)
also died.Anyways, you found your way to the lab and destroy
all the child Kraken.Dr geometric escapes and you must
continue on with your journey.Later in the game, you meet
up with a child Kraken who survived the lab incident.
      Exhibit C-
      Story Elements (more)-

At the final battle, before destroying Kraken,dr Geometric is "killed"
and you have to fight Kraken. After defeating him,you
return home and both Tobi's now live with Clara. At the end,
the child Kraken who escaped,is in another one of the dr's
lab.You then find out the dr survived and the the game ends.
I hope everyone here can realize the tragedy that has occured to not only me, but the principles of story creation and ownership. This game was a very dear piece of me, and when I consider the regards it got-

The audacity you have, Jvr. I respected you. But to make such an outrageous claim!

First, my game is good -- your's isn't.

I don't even see anything my joyus work, and your trash, have in common.

I have just been informed by the previously noted paralegal that I am to have no further contact in regards to the issue at hand.

We will have our day in court, I assume.

            Hmph!

            In court, indeed.

Edit: Your "cease and desist" letter has promptly arrived in my mail box. I read it, I have to say, it's crap. I'm calling Sam Bernstein.

What's happening, Valk? I'll tell you what. Jvr is trying to say that I stole intellectual property of his. But, the fact of the matter is, he's full of crap. I'm in awe at his hollow threats.

I would argue my stance and seriousness on the issue once more, though I have been advised against doing such.

Honestly, I think it is a good game idea. However, I don't know about jvrlopez's game, either. I am simply saying that the story itself is a good idea.
