    Debugging tip during playtest mode

    DURING PLAYTEST MODE:
During an event which is in progress, press the "select" button and the event code will be displayed on the screen so you can follow line by line and check for any errors. (I've never seen this mentioned before, so I thought I'd throw it out there for what it's worth.)

    Yeah, that thing is helpful.

Also, I advise writing down errors in a notebook during debugging: it's usually the only way to make yourself remember to fix a typo.

They have a lot of hidden functions in debugging mode, like speeding up time, running twice as fast, ect.

Yes, you're right. Well, I guess this board serves partially to explain things that the manual didn't cover (hard to believe there isn't much info. at all in the manual about the debugging functions of the different buttons)

What about when doing a storyteller preview? So many time I found a problem that needed to be fixed, but I was forced to go through the rest of the long storyteller before I could fix it.

Yeah, that's true. I have the same problem. With really long stories, especially, it gets annoying. Anyone know?

I'm trying to train my cat to push buttons for me so I can walk away during those long story previews hahahaha

I don't think you can really train a cat like you can a dog... Unless you've got too much time on your hands. But then you'd be spending more time training him than if you actually just did it yourself.
