    SKYPE FREE!!!!

    For the rest of the year Skype is allowing you to call from your computer to ANY phone in the US or Canada for FREE!!! They're doing it as a promotional to get ppl to get use to using it and hopefully continue after the year is up. Considering my Razr only works when I walk quite a distance outside my house to get service :-(

    This is awesome, especially since half my relatives live in canada...

    Well later~

          Free calls, thats good.

            Yeah I gotta confirm. I've been using Skype since much much earlier this year. It's an instant messaging service that lets you place phone calls too. For example, to call the number 555-5555 in area code 300, you just type +13005555555 into the little box at the bottom and hit the call button. A little laggy, but it works long-distance. And free til January.

            Your number shows up on the other person's phone as: 012-3456.

                Well, I would believe so.

                I haven't personally tried it, but when I call my house it says:
                Unknown Name
                012-3456


                Ok I just tried it again and it's listed as:
                Unknown name
                Unknown number


                So yeah... I don't see why not. www.skype.com, get a headset with microphone and some phonebooks and have a ball.

                          Yeah calling any US or Canadian number is absolutely free until January. So if your regularly at your comp, I'ld say screw the phone or cell unless someone calls you or you aren't at a comp.
