Getting A max drive!!!!!!!!

I am getting a max drive, When i go shopping for new school clothes.

If I get one, The Legend Of The Black Dragon will be out around saturday-monday.

And in a while The Legend Of The Black Dragon Two: Soul Knights will be out
( which is shaping out alot better than the first one )

Congrats Rathman on your new Max Drive. It really is cool to be able to download other people's games (not to mention upload your own.)

This thread caught my eye because my memory card dedicated for Max Drive dowloads ended up with a corrupt file. I've downloaded probably six or seven games, playing them and then deleting them to make room for more.

For some reason, I can't get that one corrupt save to be deleted either. I've tried deleting the file with the Max Drive disk. I've tried deleting it just using the PS2 option. It simply can't be deleted. Other saves on my card have had a couple problems too. I would recommend having one memory card that you have separated only to be used for downloads of other people's games. That way your other saves from other games aren't at risk.

So, by all means, download and have a great time playing the creations of others, but do it on a dedicated memory card. And of course, for the game your creating, definitely have a back up.

I believe it was the demo for Hitogoroshi's new game, but I know it's not the fault of Hitogoroshi's demo because I played through it with no problem at all as other people have. (I'd recommend trying it by the way. It's good.) I used that memory card this afternoon, but I've had that download on there for a couple of weeks. It could be that when I was saving a really large file from another game, something else happened to the save on my card. All I know for sure is that the corruption happened on my memory card that's dedicated for Max Drive downloads.

Anyway, Rathman55, I'll stop talking about this now as not to take over the thread. That wasn't my intention at all when I posted my first message here. Basically, I'm just recommending that you have one card especially dedicated for downloads from the Max Drive.

Thanks, I think i have a mem card with only two saves on it... Ones my friends and the others one i don't use. , The game com ing out soon isn't great... But i think the sequal will do well

Paggeron have you tried formatting the memory card? I got some corrupt data on my card with the Max Drive once too and was able to get rid of it by formatting.

Format the memory card? Wow! Sweet. I had no idea that you could do that. I'm definitely going to try. So, what the Max Drive breaks, it can also fix. Well, that's a plus.

Valk, I have had my PS2 memory card corrupt EVEN while formatting it using Max Memory in the Action Replay Max Evo Edition software (and now I can't save ANY RPG Maker 2 game on it or else the RPGM2 save corrupts) Lucky for me I have more than one memory card though!

Max Memory? oh man, those memory cards are complete garbage. never use a non-sony memory card. RPG Maker software doesnt get along with third-party cards.

Yeah, I got a Max Memory by mistake so I just use it to archive data. Even if you load it, it won't work with RPGM3.
