Just draw something random, or have one of us tell you what to draw. Like, a raccoon warrior readying for battle.
I do know what you're going through, though. Sorta. I've got one monster left to design for a game. Unfortunately, all I know is the water has to be water-based, and somewhat made of water. It's been weeks since I started to think about what to make it, and I haven't thought up a thing.

When I was about 12 I used to draw things like crazy. Nonstop all the time. I had tons of ideas. Once I hit about 14, the creativity stopped flowing.
Now after around 4 years later is it finnaly kicking back in. Your couple of months is nothing compared to my 4 years!!
Why don't you try drawing something you've never drawn before?
If all else fails, do something else for a while. Once you finish, try thinking up something to draw again. It helps clear your mind.

Hell yes! It almost makes me want to quit drawing, because everything I draw is apsolutely ugly. GRRR.

Don't make your water monster water-based. That's too typical. And yet it works considering what the monster is.How about a huge blue suit of armour covered in barnacles that
has water pouring out of every joint and is armed with a mace? I don't think that would fit on a 24 x 32 sprite. (I'm trying for a CBS.)

The thing about block is, usually it's not that you aren't writing/drawing/being artistic, it's that you are expecting more from yourself than you are consistently capable of.
My suggestion is to go ahead and file away anything that you start but feel like it's crap. Come back to it later when you are being a little less critical of yourself.
Even if you don't finish the piece, it may serve as a springboard for something greater. Keep at it, but save it all. Don't throw any ideas away, eventually you'll look back and realise nothing was as bad as it seemed.

Hey bio, I get that **** all the time being in an art school and all.....I have found the best treaments are the following.
1) doodle while talking on the phone....its meaningless and breaks a barrier, it has a time or two for me....doodles that you dont really know what they are...seem to usually unfold into something or you can trash it and start over...its helps though.
2) jump onto the web and look at other peoples stuff and break it down.
3) draw non creative stuff until you get the urge for something creative....it works your skill and helps you build anatomy and what not....naked women and men always work.

I'd experiment with a style I'd never done before, of course I don't remember ever getting artists block, so my advice is probably worthless.
Can't wait to see what you put out.
