            That totally sickens me. As a Turtle owner (I have four of them) I think that someone that insane shouldn't even be able to keep the turtle. Turtles can hold their breath several hours so it's nothing to them. Also, the shell discoloration is NOT heat induced, but rather the natural aging process. (Red eared sliders turn darker as they grow older, from olive green from birth to dark green with black stripes).

            So a turtle survives a fire and all he can think of is Satan. Please SOMEBODY remove that poor turtle from that lunatic's care.
