First of all, thank you to all those individuals who took the time to submit garbage art. I must admit that I didn't expect this many people to enter the contest. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of entries and the amazing variety within those submissions.
I was floored by each and every one of these, and it was a real treat to see your goofy interpretations of this series. I will be posting a link to each entry, please be sure and resize the images before reading. I will also be listing a few comments on the pieces from the other judges. (The judges comments will be denoted with the first letter of their name.)
How did we rate these? Each person was shown the art and asked to rate the humor and creativity of the piece on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the best. Increments of .5 were allowed and encouraged to help eliminate the need for tie-breakers. We then averaged out the scores and based the decision on who had the highest overall score. I will not be posting the actual point rankings aside from the winners and a few runner-up folks, so don't ask.
This was NOT an easy contest to judge, which is why I enlisted the help of 3 other SH fans/artists. Please don't hate me if you didn't "win." *is pelted with rocks and garbage*
Due to the amount of entries, I have decided to include 3 additional promo shirts as prizes for those who didn't "place." So 5 random participants (yes, their names will be drawn out of a hat) get free shirts. HUZZAH!
I had to rename some of them, and DK's had to be saved as a Jpeg and not a Png due to size. Then I jumbled them up in no particular order.
Going by points alone, the nicest judge was C. The harshest judge was G.
