Mega Man X1 & 2 at the same time with 1 controller.

Be shocked. Be amazed. Be slightly skeptical.

    Here it is.

A link for part 2 should come up at the end of that video.

I'd have been impressed watching just one of the screens, he pulls off **** I never could have.
"At first it just looked like a picture of a bunch of lily pads, but then I started scraping at it with my pocket knife and the whole painting just sort of spoke to me," Schmidt said. "For the first time, I finally understand what Monet was trying to get across in her work."

That is definitely a tool-assisted run, but it is still damned impressive when seen side-by-side. Great find.

If you look at it like it is (I only watched like 2 minutes of it though) technically is DOES seem possible to play like that.

Maybe one day the player will know what it's like to...*gasp* kiss a girl.

its legit from what I can tell (and I know those games extremely well). X2 lets you dash without a boot upgrade, so he's able to do some maneuvers in one game that the other won't recognize for a while. X1 doesnt let you air-dash either.

it is done with an emulator, it says it right at the beginning of the video. but it still takes a heck of a lot of skill to pull it off.

I agree that this could be pulled off and I also LOVE these games. I would say that they are the best mega man games out there (except for x3).

It seems like most people either just read what it was or watched a few minutes of it before screaming ********.

This is a tool assisted movie
It says so right on the video.

Also he does the boss fights mainly during each other's cutscenes.

now we need mario1 and mario2 at the same time. THAT would be something.

Tool Assisted - these games are played using a emulator at super slow speeds and save states.

I agree the time it would take to do something like this is amazing. My respect goes to anyone who can do this even if it is tool assisted.

Watching movies like these makes me want to neuter someone.
                            ...and that's why.

I think this is the video, published a year ago.

I would never have the patience to retry certain parts of a game over 14k times.. That's insane..
