Warning to 360 owners: Dead Rising may break your 360
Re: Warning to 360 owners: Dead Rising may break your 360
It seems like the problem is coming from people who are playing a backup of the game on a firmware flashed 360 which is probably way more likely than the game being the problem. http://www.maxconsole.net/?mode=news&newsid=9101
Re: Warning to 360 owners: Dead Rising may break your 360
Sega has finally admitted that for whatever reason some peoples 360s freeze when they play Chrome Hounds. If this is also only affecting piraters, I have no idea.
Re: Warning to 360 owners: Dead Rising may break your 360
Isn't the freezing problem mainly console related/doesn't it happen all the time? Happened to me with three different games. It even accured while I used the 360 to play music from my iPod. I doubt it has anything to do with the software.
(console came factory sealed and in mint condition, still works fine with the occasional bad frame rate)
They should come up with something in every game, which disables/freezes the console for those who pirate. I'm surprised something like that hasn't been implemented yet.
Re: Warning to 360 owners: Dead Rising may break your 360
Only problem I've had with Dead Rising is the disc read errors, and it's happened to a lot of people who bought it. I'll exchange it for a newer disc later on and see how that one does.

I dont know man, ever since I got dead rising, my 360 freezes alot, and since yesterday, no matter what TV I plug my 360 into, the picture is all ****ed up...
Re: Warning to 360 owners: Dead Rising may break your 360
I think it's the X-Box itself. A) Every system purchased at or near launch has a greater than average probability of hardware and software defects. B) This is X-Box we're talking about. C) If piracy is the common factor the pirated copy is probably full of malicious code, and Microsoft software is the most targeted software for viruses.
