Everything drawn, painted, sung, played, ect. is art. It doesn't have to move people to be art. Anything we create is art to some degree.
Anime is more like movies. Some of it can be considered an artisitc piece, while others can be called a good time to view.
Art isn't just a specific catagory that you can place stuff in neat little folders.Comment

Look the question isn't is anime art or is anime not art. the question is what is art. And it's one of those questions that no two people will ever agree on.
