Ever got SO bored and lazy that you could think of nothing better to do than play Minesweeper? Ever not wanted to do homework but thought playing a real game would take too much time...so you wasted hours away playing Space Caded 3D Pinball instead? Ever got so annoyed with the other real people at work that you spent your lunch breaks with Ben and Pauline from Hearts? If so, this is your topic! What are your high scores on the games built into your computer from the get-go, and what's the story behind them? Trust me...we've all been there.
I'll start. It seems the more homework I got assigned to do this summer, the less I wanted to do it, but I didn't have the internet to poke around on and my only books were Japanese. Therefore, Pinball and Minesweeper were my refuge. I played more Minesweeper, and I got best times of Beginner 15 sec., Intermediate 63 sec., and Expert 196 sec., even if my win-loss ratio correlates to around the natural percentage of the element gold in the human body. I played less of Pinball, but am pretty impressed with my high score of 7,636,500.
How 'bout you? Feel free to share scores in Hearts, Solitaire, Free Cell, or what-have-you as well.
Can't all be winners all the time...or can we?
