    Non-line games

Ever got SO bored and lazy that you could think of nothing better to do than play Minesweeper? Ever not wanted to do homework but thought playing a real game would take too much time...so you wasted hours away playing Space Caded 3D Pinball instead? Ever got so annoyed with the other real people at work that you spent your lunch breaks with Ben and Pauline from Hearts? If so, this is your topic! What are your high scores on the games built into your computer from the get-go, and what's the story behind them? Trust me...we've all been there.

I'll start. It seems the more homework I got assigned to do this summer, the less I wanted to do it, but I didn't have the internet to poke around on and my only books were Japanese. Therefore, Pinball and Minesweeper were my refuge. I played more Minesweeper, and I got best times of Beginner 15 sec., Intermediate 63 sec., and Expert 196 sec., even if my win-loss ratio correlates to around the natural percentage of the element gold in the human body. I played less of Pinball, but am pretty impressed with my high score of 7,636,500.

How 'bout you? Feel free to share scores in Hearts, Solitaire, Free Cell, or what-have-you as well.

Can't all be winners all the time...or can we?

    Re: Non-line games

Never got into minesweeper. Solitare is my game of choice. I've won over a thousand and been in the red twice that. Sometimes I roll with freecell. I had over a hundred wins at one point and was 66% or somewhere there abouts.

      Re: Non-line games

I had a remedial Computer Studies class. (learn how to organize files, use Word, send e-mail...)

During the first week I finished my first ever Solitaire game; I've never had the patience to do it before.
The months that followed brought many, many more victories.
Oh my god! You are so beautiful.
I had no idea how beautiful you were.

I play Spider Solitare all the time but I refuse to play on any difficulty besides Easy.

Huh. I forgot I even had minesweeper on here.

          Beginner: 43 seconds
          Intermediate: 116 seconds
          Expert: 494 seconds

          Space Cadet Pinball: 743,000

Yeah, I haven't really played them all that much. Mostly I only tried them when I first got this computer. One game that I miss, though, that apparently no longer comes with Windows (or maybe it didn't in the first place; it was my parents' computer), involved some guy who had to get through a bunch of levels, finding keys, solving puzzles, and avoiding obstacles. Can't remember what it was called, but you heard "bummer" every time you lost. I got pretty far in that.

I just use the cheat in pinball, so I don't know how good I am in it, and I am horrible at minesweeper.

I once got 8 seconds on Minesweeper on Beginner. I have since never once been able to do it in under 10 seconds.

              Intermediate, I don't remember, and Expert I don't remember.

Free-cell 68%-usually hover around 70 but I've been handed my ass lately.

Space Cadet Pinball....about 3.8 mil...I am humbled by your score.

                    Re: Non-line games

Wow... there's a cheat in Pinball?

I play these games because they're the only things I can do while listening to music at the same time.

My highest score is over 10 million points(I don't have the exact figures because my real computer's at home), and I remember getting about 9.5 million of that on my last ball. The really odd thing was that I was kind of hopped up on pills(this was a long time ago when I still did that stuff), and I got that score.

I don't think I'm so good at Freecell(Lately I've averaged between 55-60% though) but the other night I won 21 in a row. Must have been a fluke though, I never get streaks higher than 7 in a row, and I usually have losing streaks of equal length.

I usually play the pinball... being a total pinball junkie.

Oh and my personal best is about 10.4 million. And no I have no idea how I pulled that off either.

I play Solitare all the time while I'm waiting for things to load. My highscore is 7103, the game went by so damn fast. @.@

The instructor got mad at me for playing that during break in my remedial computer class years ago. I wasn't playing during class. Evil b@$#*!

i haven't played minesweeper in a while, but my record times are 9 for beginner, 58 for intermediate, and 206 for expert. i'm terrible at most of the other games.

I just played 3D Space Cadet Pinball and got 566000. It's been a while. I'd forgotten my computer even had that. Thanks for that trip down memory lane.
I hate minesweeper and never play Solitaire.
