It's worth is simply for the Phantasy Star games as long as the loading times are okay.

Could a title like Alex Kidd, which was essentially a cuter version of Mario, see a sequel today? Probably not. "Violent games are getting more popular lately," Rieko Kodama, who helped design the original Alex Kidd games, told us. "A rocket launcher-carrying Alex Kidd just wouldn't be Alex Kidd anymore."

I don't know what game that is, but it's hardly a reason to not do a sequel. Just keep the cuteness, and ignore the whole violent trend. Besides, didn't stop Sega from giving Shadow a couple guns.

Based on Sonic Mega Collection Plus, there probably won't likely be load times involved. Least not with the PS2 version.

Too bad it doesn't have other Sega Classics, such as Strider and Gunstar Heros. And why no Sonic 3??? The others are in there.

Also, it would've been nice if Sega had included the arcade versions of Altered Beast and Golden Axe, as they are far superior.

YES!!! I can finally play Phantasy Star II again!!!

It was released just a few years ago on the Phantasy Star Collection on Game Boy Advance. The real catch here is Phantasy Star IV.

I already have almost every single one of those games on my Genesis...

I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but if I knew about this all those years ago I might've saved some cash
