I have hit level 30 now, and getting lonely playing COV. I was wondering if you guys still play or not.

COH and COV have a GREAT character customization system. Too bad the rest of the game sucks.

Sadly World of Warcraft dominates that game in every way besdies customization.

Fortunately, WoW does NOT dominate the game in every way except customization.

Unfortunately, the masses see "Blizzard" and "Warcraft", and the game could be a piece of crap, and it still sell millions. WoW is a great MMORPG, but is NOT the best.

CF, take your "crap" elsewhere.

I havent played CoH/V much recently, my 360 and chromehounds has been taking up most of my time, that and Steambot Chronicles.

Uh, I think COV/COH is a worse MMORPG than WoW.

And WoW's popularity isn't all because of it's name, it's because it's a good mmo.

That's what all the people who like inferior games say. Your arguement would mean something if this was a game that didn't require monthly fees. Customers keep paying the fees though and Blizzard controls 55% of the MMORPG industry (out of LOTS of games).

WoW doesn't have the prettiest graphics but it's got the best gameplay unless CoH's "hunt 100 of these bad guys" quests count as good and diverse gameplay. :O

Also, Jeroak may have over reacted because CarpFactory has this habit of making extremely biased statements as if they are fact.

Excuse me, but from reading your comment about hunting 100 enemies, i dont believe i have EVER had to hunt 100 enemies. The most was 15, and that was only one or two times. WoW is the exact same as all the other Korean MMOs out, but is sadly shadowed by the fact that little fanboys like yourself prance around into topics about other MMOs, that clearly arent doing anything other then talking about that game (like this topic), and bashing it. I have seen this numerous times on several different forums, and i must say its quite annoying. In fact, it shows that WoWs fanbase is full of 12-year old immature kids who want nothing other then bragging about how great their character is, or how WoW will dominate this world.

It's called exagerating. I used to play CoH and CoV. You could catagorize most quests in like 3 different types. Killing something(s), going somewhere or getting some item.

If you knew anything about MMOs you'd realize that WoW isn't anything like Korean MMOs. You probably haven't played it.

I never called you a 12 year old, i said thats what many of the people posting are However, i have played almost every MMO that has gone commercial, and every MMO inbetween...in other words, i have played LOTS. There is nothing that makes WOW, well, wow. However, im not saying CoH/CoV is better, im just saying that WoW, isnt as great as everyone makes it out to be. If you guys are wanting something totally new to the MMO genre, you should check out Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures.

Anyways! WoW isn't amazing. In fact after being an avid MMO'er I quit them. WoW in my opinion is one of the best MMOs out there but it's still nothing amazing. MMOs need surgery. I want one I don't have to play 6 hours a day to get anywhere. I want one that requires a good amount of SKILL. But almost no MMOs give you either of these.

All MMOs have going for them right now is that they're incredibly addicting. They don't even come close to meeting the gameplay standards of most other kinds of games. The simple fact that they're populated by lots of PEOPLE instead of NPCs gives them power.

If MMOs could ever be just as good gameplay wise as non-MMOs then they'll be amazing and you won't need other games. However that day isn't close to coming.


EDIT: Oh and it REALLY sucks how Blizzard doesn't care about Lore anymore.

Again, i will recomend Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures. It will bring player skill into the genre.
