View Full Version : Any reason for the 10,000 character post limit?

That thing is severely limiting to the legnth of a post. Is there any reason for it? Or could it be chucked?

yes. it's an anti-spam precaution.

I bumped it up to 30,000. if it gets abused, I'll set it back to 10,000.

I think Terr should have to learn to keep his posts to under 10,000. I rarely can make it over thirty words and he is making me feel inferior.

It's still nice to have the option to and be able to post more in one post if someone'd like to (just my two cents).

Terr, you can just link us to the news article and then write a short summary on what it talks about.

The only problem I had with this was the Creative Writing Story, but with 30,000 characters as a limit, we can work with it much easier than we could if it was only 10,000. I realize cost is an issue here, I just hope that 30,000 can remain the limit.
