My friend let his friend use his D2 CD Key, and he plays on US West. My friend recently returned can't get on US West now. His other friend refuses to stop playing, or change CD Keys. Apparantly you can use a CD Key on multiple accounts only if you play on different servers.
He has an expansion key, just not a key for the basic Diablo 2. Are there any D2 players on here that play strictly on US East? Or at least, NOT on US West? Or people that gave up D2 all together with no intentions of returning? And if so, would you be willing to PM me the basic Diablo 2 CD key so he can play? Me and him were gonna screw around some, and he's got some pretty high level characters.
And to clarify in case there's confusion, I'm not asking anyone to give up D2 so he can play... as long as you don't play on US West, he can and it'll all work out. Or if you don't play at all, then that works too. He's a real life friend, and he's sitting here with me... so if you later decide you want to return to the game and play on US West, he'll stop playing and try for another key elsewhere. I know some people probably don't know me that well and wouldn't trust me (or him) with a CD key, and if not, it's completely understandable. If you can though, thank you for the help.
