Vius poblem?

Has anyone eve head of a vius that doesn't let you type the lette of the alphabet between Q and S? I seem to be having that poblem and can't figue out why. My keyboad seems fine. I took it apat and cleaned the keys, but it feels like it's woking fine.

I just came home fom wok and out of nowhee it seems like that one key doesn't wok at all. I even tied pounding on it. Any ideas if it could possibly be a vius o something like that?

have you tried different keyboards?

I've never heard of a virus that keeps you from typing certain letters.

I have a loptop. Pehaps if it's not a vius then I guess I'd blame it on the feaking heat, ya? But why only the one lette?

Yeah, I'd say it's something wrong with the key. If it doesn't feel weird when you press it then it could just be that the sensor for that key is acting up for some reason. The A key on my laptop popped off not too long ago. I still haven't bothered to get it fixed. I've just gotten used to typing on the little nub from under the key.

yeah, it sounds like a problem with the key itself, if you have a usb keyboard or something, you should check and see if it works.

I had that happen to me too... with the up arrow key. Made playing online games rather difficult.

So I hit it a few times, tried again, didn't work, so I got a new keyboard.

Or it may be a virus... you know, the kind that goes "I dislike you, so I'm not going to let you type the letter R!" you know, because viruses are evil like that?

You can just buy a keyboard and plug it into your laptop. That's why I used to do for my old lappy. Chances are, especially if your laptop is kinda old, the key merely broke.

My keyboard has this thing where sometimes the keys on the left side get linked together.

I have no clue why it does that, but I just unplug it and plug it back in and its fine. It comes and goes.

You could always use the Alt+Numpad (for laptops Alt+Fn+Numpad) to type out your R. I gotta figure the combo though... Or copy an 'R' or 'r' and paste it where you want until you get a new KB...

I use both. If I find that my mouse isn't needed (such as if I'm merely traveling) I'll give my left hand/arm a rest and move using the arrow keys.

On-topic, if this is a virus, it's the funniest virus I've ever seen.
