I finally caved. An Xbox360 will be in my possesion tomorrow, along with Chrome Hounds. Gonna cost me around a nice fat $650 canadian.

Thats with the tax and everything. Gotta transfer my old LIVE acocunt over. It actually expires in Aug.11, so I gotta update it. Thats gonna cost me another $60. ARGH I HATE SPENDING MONEY.

Ah well. It was either save $710 for school, or get an Xbox, and take a little longer to pay my tuition.

I hope you didnt buy the Xbox JUST for Chromehounds though, cause its not everyones cup of tea. Its more tactical and slower than the AC games.

Shouldnt be hard to find a squad to join, play atleast the first 1 or 2 missions of each type so that you can get the hang of the type of hound you like. If you play against the OldHoundDogs, one of em may be me, so watch out, hehe.

I'll be getting myself a 360 but I won't have the money until September and then I'll probably wait til my birthday (early Oct) just for the heck of it.

if you get the harddrive, definitely download the Lost Planet demo.

And they recently added the Ninety-Nine Nights demo. I had a lot of fun with it.

I was just about to ask if anyone's played the N3 demo. I'll definitely get the Premium 360, there's just no sense in getting the Core. The only reason I would ever consider it is if cheaper/better 3rd party versions of all the accessories were available but I don't really trust 3rd party accessories lately.

I went to a few places to see who had the best deals.

EB had nothing but a 1 year warrenty with one full replacement for an extra $50.

Future Shop(I <3 this store) had a package deal with Xbox360 Premium, one $69.99 game, an extra controller, and a 3 year warrenty for $699.

They let me switch out the extra controller for a Quickcharge Kit wich lowered the price a little. It only ended up saving me about $15 over all, by getting the package instead of getting them all seperate, but saving money is saving money.

I promised myself Id clean up my room first before I hook it all up. Its a ****ign pigpen, with piles of garbage in corners, and unwashed clothes all over the place. No room to put a 360 and its MASSIVE power supply anywhere.

find someplace where you can put the brick where it has lots of room, preferably where it can get plenty of circulation too.

Mine is like that, and it barely even gets hot.
