I know the answer to this will probably be "no", but I'll ask it anyway. I want to make a "credits" screen in storyteller mode. Is there any sort of "delay" function to move from one screen to the next instead of relying on the player's button input? I know you can do it in events, but I haven't found the function in storyteller. Did I simply pass over it all this time, or is this yet another annoyingly non-sensical limitation that I have to put up with?

Re: "Credits" Screen
Not if we want to include a list of RPGM3's development staff."What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."

Re: "Credits" Screen
I'm definitely going to thank some people in the credits of my game. I'm not sure if I'll input everyone from the RPG Maker 3 development staff but that is cool that Draygone's posted the list for anyone who wants to use them.
Re: the storyteller. For what it's worth.. if you don't have dialogue (using the button push as a delay), you don't need to place your background scenes immediately one after the other. You can put space in between them. The storyteller reads each horizontal line as a unit of time, so you can modify the intervals of time between the background changes.Last edited by Pagerron; 07-30-2006, 10:16 PM." Re: "Credits" Screen
Page, thats awesome! For those who don't get it, you can set the background first with the message:
And it will delay. Thus, you can have the music playing, display the background and then have the message come: While it's not a perfect delay, it does add a feel of professionalism.

Re: "Credits" Screen
Well there's the option of having empy lines when inputting a message, but there's also leaving empty storyteller command lines. Leaving 10 lines open I think "delays" it for about 1 second."What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Re: "Credits" Screen
Well other than my fiance who I'm making it for, and my friend who is constantly over here beta testing it for me (and putting up with my annoyingly long story lines), I was also planning on adding a lot of special thanks to you folks. :-P
That trick with the line spacing might just work...going to have to give it a try.Believe nothing...except for the possibility of everything.
