It's painfully slow."At first it just looked like a picture of a bunch of lily pads, but then I started scraping at it with my pocket knife and the whole painting just sort of spoke to me," Schmidt said. "For the first time, I finally understand what Monet was trying to get across in her work."

Re: Real life Armored Core/Metal Gear?
That is definitely cool (and a little creepy). But the other one was built to for a person to pilot so they couldn't do it that way. That one can carry 88 pounds but I imagine it'd be a job of work to make legs that articulate and balanced but strong enough to support the weight of a cockpit and person. When a group/organization with enough resources gets in the mix they'll probably end up combining ideas from several independent projects like these.I want that Mulan McNugget sauce, Morty!

I don't see how a mech would be any more useful than say a tank during combat. The mechs would just be too damned fragile."At first it just looked like a picture of a bunch of lily pads, but then I started scraping at it with my pocket knife and the whole painting just sort of spoke to me," Schmidt said. That one's really cool too. It reminds more of silent hill though. those legs move a little TOO real.
Imagine walking alone in the dark, then hearing that noise and barely seeing that thing coming at you.
