When me and my brother looked at it, it was $40 for a few months. But when I bought it, it was $20. Why the sudden price drop EB?

I saw some movies and the gameplay looks really fun. Very fluid. Mind explaining how combat is...do you just duel? Thanks.

            Kinda.

Basically orbs appear around the arena which is destructible and vary from different post apocalyptic urban locals.

            Decrepit malls and subway stations.

The orbs are different skills (basically like cards in a deck from any kind of card game) and some you can use more than once, some yuo cant.

You run around the environs shooting each other with fire or flying or dashing. Its really really fun.

After shooting and missing my target with a huge fireball I tore down a huge cement pillar.

            pretty rad.

            Downloadable content gallore.

            supposedly.

Well yeah, only 20 bucks, but also the cost of an Xbox if you don't have one. And another controller to play 2 players. And my prescription glasses were $150, without them I couldn't see the game. And also a TV to play it on, in case you don't have one. And $20 for a shirt, because it's not like youre going to play topless.

So what, this game costs like a grand? Seriously what kind of game costs $1000

the more i play this the more i like it.

You basically make your own deck of these powers to.

and depending on how powerful the move is the more it can destruct the environs.

This game kinda reminds me of the matrix.

me and mikochan did "X box vs. Car", where she sped down the road in her car and I threw my X box directly at the front of her car.

so yeah, I'm not able to check this out.

It's not it's fault you couldn't mod it with cool flashy lights.

Furthermore, what're you gonna play the X-Box version of MM:AC with?

On topic: Neutral with aformentioned game.

                            Re: Phantom Dust

Now I know why this game was $20. If it was any higher, I'd hurt someone.

While the game isn't that bad, I could understand why it previously hasn't went to our shores.

First of all, I'll start with the opening/some of the cutscenes. Some of them are drawn out too long(they're not long so far I've played). They don't get to the point fast enough. I usually skip them. The story doesn't seem to be anything to write home about either. I hope after I complete it my opinion will change but with the foreshadowing, I personally doubt it.

Then when I started the game, I noticed one of the dumbest things you can do developing a game-make text difficult to read. Overall most of the text for the game is pretty small(not that I wanted it bigger). Basically the dialogue spoken by NPCs is black text on a dark blue background box....in the top left corner of the screen. There was little text to speak of, so why not make it more readable, like in the cutscenes, white text on a black background? Don't worry, most people will be able to read it.

The controls are good for this type of game, but a few things bother me.

Who thought it was a good idea to have the jump and moving functions on the same stick? You move with the left analog and jump by clicking it. This works when there isn't any danger around, but the aerial movement shouldn't be hindered like that. It's not that hard to get used to, but it could've been done better. Then you have the abilities. When I first started, bullet of fire was my most trusty weapon. Attack abilities have ranges, so you can't snipe with bullet of fire, you'd need something like laser to do that and vice versa. Actually, it takes some getting used to using attack abilities well, as they're kind of clunky. You assign them to the four face buttons(A, B, X, and Y). The system is decent and you can customize your arsenal.

The game looks great though, but I personally don't expect any less from overseas developers. The enviroments are awesome, and yes you can destroy them to a certain extent. Multiplayer so far is pretty cool. But if you played the SP game, you should know what to expect.

I'm not really bashing the game, as it's pretty cool for its price. But, a lot of things could've been done a little better like the ability system. I'm glad I only spent $20 on it, because I still have money for TS3.

I have no problem with the jump movement on one stick.

There are special moves to do real aerial movement since the default jump is like 1 foot off the ground.

It also sounds like you haven't gotten as far as building up aresenels. Thats when the real game begins.
