Name change.

Does anyone know how you can get charactors to say a name thats been
changed using the name input prossesing event.Like say the charactor forgot
his/hers name and is now using a new name.Does ANYONE know!?

If you mean something like a message that says the name that the player entered, you just type

\N[#]

Replace # with the hero's number in the database.

There's no instruction booklet that comes with RPG Maker XP since you download the program (well as far as I know ). There's only the help file that you can access by pressing F1. Also, in some dialog boxes, you'll find a question mark icon in the upper-right corner. Click on this and then click on the field you want to have information about. This is pretty useful when you want to learn more about each event commands for example.
