Magic Pengel returns

A while ago, a bunch of us begged agetec to bring over the sequel to magic pengel. Although it seems agetec passed on this title (likely due to the horrible sales of the first game), the no-name publisher Hot-B has picked it up for US release, and will be selling it as Graffiti Kingdom.

needless to say, this company has pretty much no track record with localizations, so I'm a bit worried about how it will turn out.

I second that. Just the fact that they've altered the name makes me nervous. -_o

Well, I figure Agetec would own the name Magic Pengel.

well, they're using the exact translation of the japanese name.

agetec changed it originally so it wouldnt be confused with the likes of jet grind radio, and so people wouldnt think the game actually had something to do with graffiti.

this new company had to pick a new title, agetec owns the rights to the name magic pengel. so they couldnt call it magic pengel 2.

I loved the first game, so I will hold out hope for the sequel.

But...you get to fight using monsters that you drew yourself! Imagine the potential a monster called Stick Man would have! Of course, Stick Man wouldn't hold a candle against Bunch Of Scribbles.
