Lady In The Water actually wasn't that bad...

Despite a rousing 22% on the tomatometer, I decided to pay 26 bucks to see Lady In The Water tonight (I didn't really feel like waiting for the next showing of "Monster House" to start).

It was actually pretty uh...decent? I dunno. I liked the characters and stuff and it actually didn't feel as patronizing as his other movies (Where it's like "Hey look at these characters I made, I bet you've never seen anything like that!"!)for some reason; can't really put my finger on it.

The main plot was kinda weak...I dunno, the acting was amazing.

And the best part about it was that for once a movie actually ended right where it should've!



I dunno, I wouldn't have really made this topic but I remember when the trailer first hit before Harry Potter lots of doods posted about it.

I kinda wanna see it too. But Shyamalan needs to stop writing his own movies. Just find actual writers to do them.

I saw it yesterday and I really just fell in love with the story even though I didn't know what was going on half the time.

But I will say I didn't really get into it until after Giamati started trying to find the right people to fit into the story. But overall, I really, really enjoyed it.

Meh, I think the movie looks kind of gay, I won't discard it though, since I realized that I really loved the survival aspect of the movie The Hills Have Eyes. And I thought that movie looked stupid, but don't expect me to give my opinion on it until it comes out on DVD or something.

I don't watch Shyamalan films in theater. I learned from Sixth Sense that it's a bad idea.

Interestingly enough when Paul Giamatti was on Conan the other day he spent the entire interview discussing "fanny sex". Not in direct connection with Lady but still worth noting. Why is it nearly every guy Conan interviews ends up talking candidly about gayosity?

I haven't seen The Village. Somebody told me the twist ending before I'd seen it so it was spoiled but it was exactly what I'd expected when I first heard about the movie so I wasn't angry with the spoiler.

i will never see this movie because the trailer alone has the worst horror movie cliche ever. little kid singing children's nursery rhyme in an attempt to be SCARY oh no "the itsy bitsy spider" i just peed myself
