    Adventure Game

Just curious, but has anyone tried to make those old adventure games? You know, in the style of Monkey Island, Space Quest, and Leisure Suit Larry... It seems fairly simple to do that with this particular system... It would be a lot of "Multiple Choice" usage. the only thing I would have a problem with is the look, touch/take, smell, taste/talk commands.

After I complete my current game, this is going to be my next project. Anyone else work on something like this previously? Even if not, any suggestions? Thanks!

This sounds like a great idea, I was considering making a game similar to that of Titanic: Adventure out of Time, or Dust, which, if you haven't played them, are text-based adventure games. You choose different responses to different things. I think this would be very possible with RPGM2, but haven't got around to trying it.

Yeah, but if it's text-based, use Qbasic or Infrom 7.

I want to make a maniac mansion like game. It's been marinating in my brain for some time. RPGM2 would be perfect for it.

          Does anyone remember maniac mansion?
I love that game. It was one of the first games with multiple endings and multiple ways to beat it.

I am planning a game that works like Maniac Mansion, where you have missions for ghost hunting, and you can pick and choose your team mates who have different skills.

            I really love Maniac Mansion.

Yeah, that's kinda what I was getting at too. Maniac Mansion was one of the greatest games ever. It started the SCUMM system. I'm definitely thinking of making this type of game. I just have to figure out how to get the menu fixed up to my liking.

Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion.

They used it afterwards in all the LucasArts Adventure games. (like Sam & Max, Monkey Island, and Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis)

                      Ok, thanks for the info.
I'd definitely be interested in playing this type of game for RPGM2. I hope you do it and do it well. Good luck my friend.8-)
