    Challenge Everything.

YouTube recording of EA rep admitting they haven't released any good games lately. But they have released at least one crappy game.

Wow. And for practical reasons, I may be working there for a few years.

Ya, that seems odd. usually they would tell you all about their newest games and what-not.

I'm suprised he got through so quickly though.

Wow. Somebody needs to try this with Square-Enix. 'Cause everybody's hating on Square-Enix, so might as well call Square-Enix.

I hate Square-Enix... Enix was much cooler. In fact, they both were before becoming Square-Enix.

And what does a topic about EA have to do with Square-Enix?

                    Re: Challenge Everything.

EA games sucks at making games. Period. Not only are many of their games boring and uninventive, but poorly made and filled with bugs. Buy The Sims 2 and you'll see what I mean. Patches galore!

EA didnt make Sims 2. Maxis did. EA is just the publisher.

FF X-2. Romancing Saga. Especially Romancing Saga. I haven't played it due to the fact I can't stand the art design. It's god awful in some eyes.

Anyway, isn't EA the guys that release the same football games and such? I really haven't payed much attention to them.

                          Re: Challenge Everything.

I personally think Dragon Quest 8 is the best improvement to the Dragon Quest games so far. Yes, Factor 5 is mostly responsible for it, but just think, If Square and Enix hadn't decided to merge, Enix might've not made a decision to outsource the project. But aside from decisions like that, I haven't seen much Enix-on-Square or Square-on-Enix influence on in-house projects. Square games are still very much Square games, Enix games are very much Enix games. Final Fantasy X was already deviated from the Final Fantasy traditions before the merger, and Dragon Quest 8, despite having suped up graphics, still feels like a Dragon Quest game (a lack of FMVs helps).

If there's a problem with some of their games, it has to be either Square's fault or Enix's fault. Except for maybe when it comes to a few new franchises.
