Use SD card + reader as Max Drive?

Just wondering, does anybody know if the Max Drive software works with an SD or CF card inserted into a USB reader/writer like this one.


I figured since the software works with any USB flash drive and a card reader like that works just like a flash drive it should work. Wondering since I just ordered a reader and 1 GB SD card to use with a GBA Movie Player.

It should, as long as you have the max drive PS2 disk.

seems like it would work, especially since I use my PSP as my storage medium for the max drive. but there's no getting around the need for the PS2 software.

Cool. I wish I'd known that before I bought the USB drive I'm using with Max Drive now. It was $40 - $20 rebate for 256MB. I'm getting the 1GB SD card and reader for about $30 counting shipping & handling. Not that I ever ran out of space on my drive from holding RPGM saves, mostly from other stuff.
