    Pirates of the Caribbean 2

I must say im surprised no one has posted a topic about this yet...however i guess i shall.

I wont post a spoiler filled post seeing as im guessing many of you havent seen it. However, i must say i am VERY pleased with it, and loved every second of it. It had a lot more humor then the first, and the special effects were top notch! I would recommend it to anyone who liked the first one =)

I've heard its like 700 hours long.

Why does every movie have to be 700 hours long?

Superman was like 700 hours long when it could've just been like 100 hours long.

      AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Because nine out of ten of those movies are about an HOUR longer than they need to be.

It is a great movie!!! I saw it just an hour ago.

Lots of sword action, funny moments and off your seat thrills! I can't wait for the third movie.

I seriously feel like a child again. I want to go sailing and sword fighting now

This one left me very unsettled with the "ending" (if you can call it that). The last line from you-know-who should have been, "Yar, yer wallets be fat enough to pay fer another ten deblooms to see what happens next!"

Personally I enjoy a good long movie. They have a more epic feel than the usual 1.5-hour movies. A lot of 1.5-hour ones (the good ones, anyway), I feel all disappointed that it's "over already", while the longer ones (if it's a good movie) I feel very much satisfied when it's over.

Anyway, on topic, I intend to see it. I thoroughly enjoyed the first, so I'm a little disappointed that it's undergoing the sequel treatment, but as long as it's still one of the most awesomest movies I'll ever see, I won't mind so much. 10 to 1 that the third movie will suck, though.

I feel terrible. I've yet to see the first one.

You're not the only one Maijo. I'm going to rent the first so I can go see this one. I wasn't at all interested in either movie until I saw the trailer for 2. Davey Jones looks so cool I couldn't help wanting to see it.

That's what I still don't get. Since when is Davey Jones a squid-man?
