    Shadows of Torayu

So yeah, I don't want to enter Holy Word Exodus in the summer contest. You see, working on it with any sort of deadline may cause me to finish it sooner then I want, and with a highly story based game thats no good.
So, I'm working on a non-linear game where you get to steal things. Not sure how its going to work out, but I have a few ideas. More stuff later.

So yeah, Day and Night is going to play a huge part in my game.
But now I need to somehow have a wait command...

Oh, RPGM3. Thats what I use all the time (except for QB.)
Anyway....*sigh.* Need some sort of wait command besides the Inn that could appear in every city logically. Ideas? Anyone?

          NEED WAIT COMMAND.

If you don't understand what I mean, I need some way where you can instantly change from day to night and vice verca, or else the game will get boring fast.

I haven't tried this, but what about warping the party to a map that is always day/night/whatever, then warping them back? Would that work? I can't really test right now.

I know how to do it. What I don't know is what event the party will interact with to make it day/night.

It has been a while, but I have done something similar to this before. I had it so that this town starts out dark and cloudy then once the place was exorcised it was nice and sunny. Is that something like you was looking for. If so, tommorrow when I get back home, I'll see how I did it and tell you.
I had to change accounts. I'm here now - http://www.pavilionboards.com/forum/member.php?u=1475

No, Jamos, there is a change time and change weather command. That part's easy. My problem is, the character gets to choose whether it's day or night, but I don't know what the character has to do in-game to change it from day to night..like, talk to a chicken to change the time, or whatever. Except not retarded.

A tree. Like, he sleeps under a tree for a while.

Hey now! That wouldn't work for all the towns, but it gets me thinking: you have to find it. Different ways to wait in each town...perfect! Thanks, DYRE.
