This sounds like a wierd question but how do I take a picture from my documents and make it my sig?

you'll have to upload it somewhere like imageshack.us, or photobucket.com first. then go into your user control panel and select "Edit Signature". click the image icon (looks like mountains in a picture frame) and put the URL to the image in there, and you're done, unless you want to add text too.
make sure your signature follows the guidelines in the site rules, posted in the site info and suggestions forum.

sig testing posts are a no-no. there's a preview button you can use rather than actually posting it, and the sig editor uses a real-time preview anyways.

Zero, what Valk means is that all your posts will get the sig, go back and check those.
