    good idea mabey?

    when making a townsperson i was wondering if this is possible..

    when you execute talk next to a person and they say hi i was wondering if you could open a little box where you have a choice of thinks to ask them like... Name? Job? Quest? Town? and they could answer it...and after they are done talking to you it goes back to the chat box again..like this


    A small old man with a slightly arched back leans twords you...Hello young man..what could i help you with??

    Name Job Quest

    (say you selected job)

    I have been working on the towns farmlands since i was a boy..

    (it brings you back to the choice selection now)

    Name Job Quest Farmlands

    (it opened a new part of the converstation he brought up )



    and have it go on like that ? lol

    A "decision branch" will handle that. You can have up to 4 choices.

      Yeah, look under "control" in the event code, I believe. For your situation, lets say that this event is event one. (Note you will have to talk to the man to see all the choices again, unless you choose job. You could have it always go back to the branch, but then you could only have three options as the fourth would be leave.)

      Mode 1:
      Control Branch (3 way descion)
      Control Branch Message: What can I help you with?
      Choice 1: Name
      Display Message: "Name stuff blah blah blah"
      Choice 2: Quest
      Display Message: "Quest blah blah blah"
      Choice 3: Job
      Display Message: I have been working on the towns farmlands since I was a boy...
      Take Over (Event one, mode two)

      Mode Two:
      Same as mode one but with:
      Choice 4: Farmlands
      Display message "Farmlands blah blah blah"

      That should do it.
