    Guess who's stuck on 56k!

    Not really, but my modem's dropping packets left and right so it feels like I am. No videogames, no clips of fat chicks falling down, and no p2p.

    I honestly had forgotten how horrid slow speed internet was, and it's gunna be this way till thursday when they can get a tech out to my house.

    Any possible remedies? Anything cool suggestions for something I could do in the meantime? Any mockery you want to throw my way? Woohoo!

    Are you using a router?

    And if so, is it Wireless or not?

      I just recently got broadband for the first time and I'm not finding much to do that's worth doing. I thought I was missing out on all kinds of cool stuff being on dialup but now that I can get at it it turns out to be mostly meh worthy. Where's the good internets at?

        Leave your cable modem and router unplugged from electricity for three minutes. Plug in the cable modem, wait two minutes, plug in the router, wait two minutes and reboot your PC.
